A customer-facing mobile app developed in house by Mousehold Studio for quoting, booking, paying for and managing taxi journeys from one passenger account.

The challenge

A passenger needs a quick route from pickup and destination to a reliable price, but the experience must also handle scheduling, payment, live journey changes and repeat travel. The product needed to make those tasks simple while remaining connected to a wider booking and dispatch platform.

The work

Mousehold Studio designed and developed a cross-platform passenger app around the full journey. Passengers can request a quote, choose a vehicle and payment method, complete a booking, follow ride updates and manage the trip after confirmation. History, saved places, cards, notifications, recurring rides, loyalty, sharing, safety, ratings and tips support repeat use.

The outcome

Passengers have one self-service place for the whole travel relationship. They can plan travel, pay securely, understand ride status, recover past bookings and manage the account without relying on a phone call for routine tasks.

The passenger-facing mobile experience keeps booking, ride records and account controls easy to reach without exposing the operational complexity behind each journey.

Passenger App home screen with pickup, destination and pricing controls — **Plan and price a journey**The home screen starts with the passenger’s immediate task: choose a pickup, enter a destination and request a price. They can travel now or schedule ahead, add journey options and move directly to ride history, live updates or support while the map keeps the route context visible.

Passenger App ride history with search, filters, prices and ride statuses — **Find and understand past rides**Ride history gives passengers one searchable record of recent journeys. Filters narrow the list by completion state and date, while each card shows the booking reference, destination, timing, price and current status before the passenger opens the full ride details.

Manage an account and repeat travelThe account area groups the services a returning passenger needs: profile details, loyalty activity, recurring rides, security, saved places and privacy controls. Call and email support are built into the same screen so help remains available without searching elsewhere.
